Since I began training with Maggie, I am stronger, more determined, and have gained a practical understanding of movement. Together we have worked through many confidence and physical based limitations that have held me back in the past. We’ve overcome ongoing shoulder mobility challenges and a meniscus tear, with the recommendation and integration of physiotherapy and osteopathy. Maggie has helped keep my goals focused, realistic and evolving. I have a greater level of fitness in my 40’s than I did as a teenager. You really are never too old to start.

Maggie has taught me how to exercise effectively, which not only lead me to getting my first unassisted pull up, benching a plate & a Trapbar PR of 260lbs, but it has translated into my day to day life. Working long hours on my feet as a Vet Tech, I can do my job safely, knowing how to hinge & brace my core properly to assist animals of all shapes & sizes.

Prior to hiring Maggie as my coach, I was into a lot of fad diets & I didn’t actually understand why I wasn’t losing any weight. Maggie educated me on the science of weight loss, how to create and portion balanced meals, and why it’s important to plan and track my nutrition. I used to put everyone & everything in front of my own needs, but since working with Maggie, she has helped me prioritize myself first & held me accountable for my results. She keeps me focused on my goals, with a plan that has allowed me to improve with every session. Maggie continues to guide me & highlight the importance of being consistent and never stop working towards my goal.

Through my coaching with Maggie, she has helped me set specific goals and hold myself accountable to them. Together we narrowed down measurable ways to obtain a healthier lifestyle with sleep, meal planning/nutrition, movement, and water intake. Maggie has taught me that the only failure is giving up. Every time I felt like I had a set back, she guided me with love and support to get back up. This has been a big factor in my building my confidence, love, and compassion for myself. I underestimated how much support I would have. As time goes on, we come up with new habits that challenge me to continue and grow in my journey.
